Terms and privacy policy

1. General

Welcome to the Postly website at postly.solutions ("the site"). Use of the site and service is subject to the terms in this document. Browsing the site or submitting your details means you agree to these terms. The policy is written in masculine form for convenience but applies to all genders. The commercial terms for paid subscriptions - automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds - are in the subscription policy, shown at purchase and on the plan selection page.

2. The Service

Postly is a digital tool that helps you publish content in Facebook groups you belong to. Postly is an independent product and is not affiliated with, funded by or approved by Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of the service is subject to Facebook’s terms and the rules of the groups you post in. You are solely responsible for your content and how you use the service.

3. What Information We Collect

• Contact form: Full name, phone number, and business field (optional) are provided by you voluntarily.
• Group Finder: Email address, a WhatsApp mobile number (optional), your search terms, page and browser language and time zone, and a hashed identifier of your IP address (not the address itself). You provide these when you request a group list.
• Registered users: Email address and account details needed to use the service, plus billing information processed by a secure external provider. We do not store credit card details.
• Backup and sync (registered users): The extension keeps a copy of your Postly data in your account: your group lists, your scheduled posts (their text, settings, target groups and attached photos and videos), delivery preferences, templates, group names, the list of groups you belong to and your campaign history. This way nothing is lost when you change computers, and you can use Postly from the website and from any device. The post you are currently writing and the groups selected for it stay on your computer, and your Facebook password and login cookies never leave your browser.
• Using Postly from the website: When you ask the website to sync your groups, publish a post, stop a campaign or switch the profile you post as, the request is stored in your account and carried out by the extension on your computer. While the website is open, the extension shares the campaign's progress with your account (for example, how many groups were posted to) so you can see it there. For each computer we keep an id, the extension version, when it was last active, its operating system and browser, and the name of the Facebook profile signed in on it, so you can tell your computers apart.
• Cookies: The site uses cookies needed to run the service, including a login cookie for registered users, and measurement cookies as described below.
• Usage and analytics data: The site uses Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure traffic and improve the service. Only statistical data is collected - pages viewed, how you reached the site, Google search terms, browser and device type, and general geographic area. This does not include your name, phone number, or email address, and is processed by Google according to its privacy policy. If you want to opt out, you can install the official Google Analytics opt-out extension. The site also uses Microsoft Clarity for usage analysis (heatmaps and recordings of how the site is used, on every page including signup, checkout and the web app), under the Microsoft privacy statement. If you have left your details with us or signed up, we may link your session recordings to those details to understand how you used the site and to improve it.

4. How We Use the Information

Details you provide in the contact form are used to contact you about the service - by phone, WhatsApp or email - according to your consent when submitting the form.

When you request a group list in the Group Finder, you receive the file by email and, as stated next to the send button, you agree that we may also send you tips, updates and offers (marketing) by email, and on WhatsApp if you add a number. You can opt out at any time: with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by replying STOP on WhatsApp. Opting out on one channel stops marketing on both.

We do not share your details with third parties for marketing. To run the service we use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (data storage), Resend (email delivery), Meta (WhatsApp Business), OpenAI (processing search terms only, never your email or phone), OpenRouter (writing posts with AI: only when you use it, the text you asked it to write or rewrite and, if you added them, a link to a product page and a photo; we do not keep that content) and Telegram (internal team alerts).

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable and standard measures to secure your data, and keep it only as long as needed for its purpose. Details provided in the Group Finder are kept for up to 24 months from your last request, or until you ask us to delete them. The copy of your data in your account is kept while your account is active, along with earlier versions of each item for up to 60 days so that an accidental deletion can be undone. A request from the website that no computer carries out expires after 10 minutes. Deleting your account also deletes the copy, its earlier versions and your stored photos and videos. However, we cannot guarantee complete protection from unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you can review, correct, or delete your collected data. To do this, contact us via the contact form or by email at support@postly.solutions and we will handle your request as soon as possible.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights to the site, content, design, logo and the name "Postly" are reserved. Do not copy, reproduce or use the site’s content commercially without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee the service will be error-free or always available, and are not responsible for indirect damages from its use, including third-party platform decisions (such as Facebook restrictions) regarding your account.

9. Changes to the Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the time of use.
